      Verdict

Mountain Ash won easily in the soft ground at Lingfield last time but has been raised 8lb. Little Gem has been in good form on the all-weather but QUEEN SARABI posted her best effort so far when beaten only a neck back over today’s trip at Brighton. Tony Carroll’s filly should be winning soon on that evidence and can confirm running with third-placed Dama Bianca. The latter should go well again having slipped down the weights and is preferred to Puffin Island, who only landed a classified race at Wolverhampton early in the year.
