Verdict
None of these inspire confidence including My Lady Claire, well beaten when runner-up over a mile at Brighton recently. Heatherdown was placed at Nottingham in April but ran poorly over a longer trip on his return while Craneur wasn’t beaten far when only fifth at Doncaster before struggling in soft going at Sandown. Hydroplane showed little last year so a token vote goes to one of the less exposed types with MOLOTOV stepping up in trip for his handicap debut and preferred to the returning Estrela Star.
