Verdict
Vhujon steps up in trip here but it may be hard for him to keep his good early speed up and so we will instead side with Wigram's Turn ahead of Miss Bootylishes and Swallow Star. This has the look of a very competitive affair and the market may provide further clues for separating the leading lights. Andrew Balding's runner won despite running as green as grass and there is untold improvement to come. He stayed on well to come clear by four lengths and ran as if he would appreciate this extra furlong. Swallow Star represents a trainer in terrific form and made a pleasing debut when scoring at Lingfield, whilst Miss Bootylishes and Ocean Transit all won their recent races and all must be feared. Meridian Line seemed to improve for the softer ground last time out but would rate a danger if at home on this quick ground, whilst Supermassive Muse has improved with every run so far. At a price, Taurian could go well, however Wigram's Turn looks a horse to follow and gets the vote.
