        Verdict

        The well-bred Russian Realm reverts to a mile for his handicap debut and has to be of interest off a potentially-lenient mark. But he takes on several in-form rivals with MONSIEUR RIEUSSEC showing himself to be particularly progressive. He only beat Royal Prize by a neck at Newmarket in June but stepped up on that effort when scoring over track and trip last month and his turn of foot could be decisive here if Ted Durcan can play him late. Related disappointed at Meydan over the winter but bounced back with a couple of fine efforts at Sandown last month and should be winning soon. He looks the pick of the remainder as Beedee appears to be treading water off his current mark and Amralah makes his seasonal reappearance.
