This looks wide-open as a number of the field have already shown ability at this level and higher. Hippy Hippy Shake is penalised for her York win, however, and will do well to follow up. Bana Wu must go on the short-list after three solid runs this term but Gertrude Versed may not appreciate the drop in distance and there's no guarantee that Light Up My Life, who apparently has the beating of Mango Diva on their run together in the Sandringham Handicap at Ascot, will stay this far. Semayyel is back at a more realistic level but lacks the scope of ROCK CHOIR, who deserves a chance to pick up some black type after demolishing a decent field at Newbury on her handicap debut. She'd also won her maiden with authority and could be anything.
