Verdict

Miss George took advantage of a drop in class to win a classified stakes race at Windsor earlier in the month and a 6lb penalty for that success may prevent her from getting the better of Corridor Creeper, who gets the vote. Milton Bradley's gelding deserves to get his head in front having found just one too good in each of his last two starts, latterly when narrowly beaten by the in-form Matty Tun at Musselburgh. A 3lb rise since then looks fair and, with this representing a drop in class, Corridor Creeper can gain a well-deserved success. Fast ground lover Boanerges, a stable mate of the selection, has his ground conditions today and is entitled to go close having slipped to an attractive mark. Milton Bradley also saddles Yorkies Boy and Eastern Trumpeter and both are capable of playing a part in the finish.
