      Verdict

HUMANITARIAN attempts to defy a penalty in this rather than take up an entry in Listed company at the weekend. He’s also in the Derby and the Gosden colt should stay this extra distance having won by five lengths over a mile at Lingfield in November. Windsor runner-up Galileo Silver has a tougher task conceding weight to the younger horses but Storting can figure again having finished second at Ripon last month. Better is expected from both Alignak and Sawasdee while the newcomer Paseo is related to a host of winners, though was gelded last year.
