Verdict

Rocky Shores has a tough task and Praeceps is penalised for winning at Chepstow last week and is upped in class. This looks between Godolphin’s Winds Of Fire, a novice winner who went close over today’s trip at Haydock on his handicap debut, and SUPERNOVA. The latter has won both starts this year despite still showing signs of inexperience at Doncaster last time when losing a shoe. This longer trip shouldn’t be a problem and though regular rider Jamie Spencer is missing, he has a more than capable replacement in Ryan Moore.
