In depth

Verdict

Wilderness has won around here but it’s hard to see the eight-year-old matching strides with younger rivals over a trip too short. Flight Of Angels looks up against in this grade but stable companion Alpina Express didn’t give her running at Ascot last month. Mistral Star was disappointing on her handicap debut but Queen Regent should figure if taking to this surface while Flash Bardot seems in good heart. TRUTHFUL (NAP) lost her unbeaten record in Listed company at Newmarket last month but was still showing signs of inexperience. She’s already won here and may have more to offer now handicapping.
