        Verdict

        A wide open contest here in which many have chances and those drawn high are sure to have a big advantage. Citronella was sixth over this course and distance last time behind High Praise in a better race and if she can reproduce that effort will not be far away but she has a bad draw to overcome. Meelup looks the main danger she was a good fifth behind Sothampton Joe last time out over seven furlongs and will be suited by the return to this shorter trip. Count Welwski has also shown ability in maiden company but has a bad draw to overcome. Self Evident was very green on her debut but will have come on for the experience and has a good draw today. Temeritas is related to winners and has a good draw so a market move would be significant. Corix De Guerre is from a yard that has a 33% strike rate with it's two year olds and is also worthy of consideration.
