In depth

Verdict

The veteran Pettochside has won twice around here and also twice this season. He didn't run badly in the Dash at Epsom and has won from higher marks. Just Glamorous is 1lb lower than his last victory here in August while SENECA CHIEF is on the same mark as when narrowly beaten at Sandown earlier this month. He holds May Remain on that run and can go one better though it's difficult to rule anything out. Stake Acclaim scrambled home on this sort of ground at Lingfield and has continued in good form while Boom The Groom very nearly grabbed his tenth career success at over an extra half-furlong Brighton where he was caught on the line.
