    Verdict

A trappy affair with leading yards represented. Balata Bay has gone rather quiet on his last two starts with similar comments applicable to stable companion Jaayiz - both look best watched for now. In contrast, both Hallalulu and ROSAMOUR have been progressing steadily with racing and the latter makes most appeal. His yard is enjoying a good month and he is the only distance winner in the contest - his recent Brighton success was nothing more than an exercise canter. The form of neither Swan Street nor First Thought matches that of the selection but both hail from yards in good form and are gradually coming to the boil.
