        Verdict

        Newcomers Black Oval, Lola Lola and Rinneen all make some sort of appeal but will need to be useful to beat Andrew Balding's Red Trance who looks the best bet under Pat Eddery. The selection has had four starts already and, although slightly disappointing at Kempton recently in a five-runner contest, a reproduction of earlier placed efforts at Windsor and Lingfield should suffice. Mick Channon's Black Oval is a half-sister to five-furlong juvenile winner Blakeshall, who is likely to know what is required. She may prove to be a bigger threat than John Dunlop's Lola Lola and Richard Hannon's Rinneen. The others with racing experience make limited appeal with Wall Street Runner, from David Elsworth's in-form stable probably the pick of them.
