Vineyard is the suggestion in the finale which is another really competitive handicap featuring a number of interesting runners. The selection has a bit to prove as the ground is forecast to be the fastest that he's encountered since debut whilst he's 3lbs higher following his win by the minimum at Windsor and he's stepping up almost a quarter of a mile in trip. He appeared to handle the ground well enough on his debut and is unlikely to be risked if connections feel that he won't act on it, he's lightly raced and should have the scope to win from his revised mark and, as a son of Alhaarth, he should have sufficient stamina for this trip if ridden with more restraint. Colorado Blue has ability and the combination of a tongue tie and blinkers may enable him to produce it on the track whilst Palmerin ran one of his better races last time but has looked a little quirky. Mizooka ran well over course and distance last time and enters the equation along with Sinbad The Sailor, Shesha Bear, Red Twist, Latin Scholar and Quinzey's Best who are all unexposed. The market may help sort that quintet out but Vineyard is taken to complete a double on the card for Willie Haggas.
