Verdict
Spirea has obvious claims after landing a Class 5 and a Class 6 handicap this term in four starts, one of which was a course win on soft ground. She steps up a furlong here for the first time but is well respected. Inkerman should go well after being run down late in a similar contest on the Polytrack a week ago whilst Concrete Mac drops into this grade for the first time. Vodka Time has never really fulfilled the promise of early juvenile days and ROUGH CORTE is the choice. Mick Channon's Clodovil filly has her twenty second start in two seasons but seems to thrive on a busy schedule and two of her performances this term particularly stand out - a Nottingham success over Tower Power and a good third to Comanchero at Chester last time. A repeat of either would suffice.
