In depth

Verdict

STARCHITECT (NAP) could be thrown in here off a mark of 82. He would have been giving weight to both Oceane and Spice Fair if this were a hurdle race and has been in fine form over timber this spring, finishing second in the Betfair Hurdle and winning at Newton Abbot either side of good runs at Cheltenham and Aintree. Air Squadron, Sunny Future, Stock Hill Fair and Rideonastar are all course and distance winners with the latter preferred of that quartet on this occasion. Nigel was unlucky not to win a race for John Gosden last year and has now joined the up-and-coming Richard Hughes. Doesyourdogbite looks held on the form book but Daghash might be interesting when dropped a few pounds.
