        Verdict

        Those who have raced are yet to prove themselves on this soft ground and so we will take a chance on Sahaadi ahead of stablemate Ike Quebec and Kaldoun Kingdom. The selection is a daughter of Dansili, a real mud lover, and whilst there are other mixed messages in the pedigree, he looks a likely newcomer from a stable who know how to ready a debutante. Watch the market to see how he moves in relation to stablemate Ike Quebec, a 55,000 euros son of Dr Fong. Ed Dunlop's horses tend to improve with their racing and Kaldoun Kingdom certainly improved for his first to second run. If he continues to improve and handles the ground then he must go close. Tadalavil, The Hoofer, Bahamian Blue and Monsieur Reynard all warrant a check in the betting; possibly the most intriguing of those is Mick Channon's Tadalavil whose sire was at home on soft ground. The market will help guide in this open-looking maiden, however we will plump for Sahaadi.
