ARCADIAN FRIEND showed nothing in three maidens over a mile but it was a different matter when stepped up to 1m4f at Lingfield on Saturday when scoring easily. This even longer trip will suit and a penalty can be shrugged off. Master Grey has won twice around here though the latest was over three years ago. He stays the trip well enough but the long losing run tempers enthusiasm. Twilight Prince has never won and probably needs even further but another maiden, Sir Joseph Swan, finished a close second over track and trip on fast going in April and looks the main threat.
