Verdict

Richard Hannon saddles half of the six-runner field and Mehme looks the best of them. She showed good pace before weakening on her debut at Nottingham but did much better at Sandown next time where she would have been much closer but for being impeded. Stable companion Amaretti Virginia also ran quite well at Sandown last time but Rose Prick hasn't quite been getting home over this trip though this is a weak contest. VERMILION cost 120,000gns as a yearling and is related to eight winners including a Group 3 winner. This isn't the toughest of starts and with her yard going well she can make a winning debut.
