          Verdict

          The end to a difficult card is made all the more difficult by the absence of the whip from these apprentice races. Mister Clinton would be a significantly shorter price if his rider was able to conjeur a run out of him with the whip but he is a difficult character and it is doubtful as to whether he'll consent to go through with his effort without it. It may pay to take a chance with Goodenough Mover. He customarily blazes the trail and with the ground drying out for him, he should stay the seven furlong trip. His rider is experienced enough and with any luck, another win is in the offing for Teamtalk's selection. Of the remainder, Pays D'Amour and Lots of Magic are both best watched at present. Twelve-year-old Law Commission could not be begrudged a fairytale victory but shown little this year. Adantino is a possibility on the best of his form and the booking of the Robert Miles is a far from forlorn option.
