    Verdict

STEEVE showed signs of inexperience on his debut at Bath before staying on well for third without threatening the winner. He’ll know more here and is preferred of those with experience of the racecourse. Mick Channon has his two-year-olds in good form and runs Arcadian Rocks. He’s worth considering on his debut along with My Dear Friend and Oloroso while leading jumps trainer Paul Nicholls introduces Whataguy.
