    Verdict

This can go to Fretwork who should have too much know-how for some interesting newcomers such as Abyla, Millisecond, Snow Ballerina, and the Channon pair Rose Germany and Tarrjoo. The latter duo are both worth a mention as they have by all accounts been working very well at home, with Rose Germany in particular sharpened up by some half-speed work on the trainer's all-weather gallop. However, Ted Durcan partners the other one Tarrjoo, so we will just have to monitor the market for their respective chances. In any case though, the one to be on is Fretwork who shaped like a certain future winner on her recent soft-ground Newmarket debut, coming from off the pace once the penny had dropped to go down by a head to the favourite, Passage Of Time. With minimal improvement, Richard Hannon's filly should go one better. Marcus Tregoning likes to introduce his better youngsters here, and unleashes Abyla, a daughter of Rock Of Gibraltar, described in a recent stable-tour as a big, scopey filly who is good looking and one to watch out for. Michael Jarvis has been enjoying a good spell and saddles Millisecond who races in the famous Helena Springfield colours. Her dam Milligram is of course from the same family as One In A Million, and this young lady is related to plenty of winners. Snow Ballerina is also very well-bred, hailing from the family of Lammtarra no less, and one thing is certain, this is a race to record for future reference. On this occasion we rely on the proven form of Fretwork.
