Verdict
The headstrong Moonlighter fell heavily at Newbury last time and may not last home under the conditions with his big weight. It’s a long time since San Benedeto ran over a trip this short but he has dropped to a generous mark. Gary Moore runs two but course specialist Darebin, the winner in 2019, is racing from out of the weights and Jamie Moore prefers Early Du Lemo, a close second to his stablemate here two runs ago and now 3lb better off. Ibleo has found only one too good in both starts this season but continues to edge up the ratings. We’ll take a chance on the fitness of HOLLYWOODIEN, who has gone well fresh in the past and signed off last season with victory in a similar race at Hereford. He’s 6lb higher on his return but was third in this race in 2017 when 2lb higher. Born Survivor has struggled for form this term and Paddy's Poem will do well to get competitive following a lay-off.
