    Verdict

The admirable EUCHEN GLEN is penalised for winning the Group 3 Brigadier Gerard here in May but he again ran with distinction at Royal Ascot and can’t be ruled out of contention as he holds both Fox Tal and Father Of Jazz on the form book. All eyes will be on John Leeper but his tendency to pull too hard was again in evidence in the Derby, though dropping back in trip may help him at this stage of his career. Gloucestershire has only won a Kempton maiden so far but has Group 2 entries so it would be no surprise to see him run well on his seasonal reappearance.
