        Verdict

        General Zoff has improved this year and was successful over course and distance last month, though closely matched today with runner-up Dance To Paris. Noonday Gun may benefit from a step back up in trip while Dancing Harry is consistent but hasn’t won since his debut in 2019. Classic Lord was only beaten a neck at Chester after winning at Haydock but has to give 11lb to the equally-progressive KALMA, who also promises to be suited by the extra quarter-mile.
