Verdict
Racing Demon is taken to lord it over Geton and Nyrche in the final race on a good card. Henrietta Knight rates Racing Demon so highly that she once compared him favourably with Best Mate. He has got a long way to go if he is to emulate his more illustrious stablemate, but on the evidence so far, he can pay to support here. He won in a common canter at Exeter, having in turn been put in his place by Chilling Place at Wincanton the time before. Although seen as a likely Royal & SunAlliance Hurdle candidate by connections, he will cope with today's trip, with the stiff finish playing to his strengths. Geton opened his account at Newton Abbot despite showing signs of greenness and has scope, but may not be good enough to beat the selection on this occasion. Nyrche had his winning run brought to an end when outclassed behind Geton's stablemate Marcel at Cheltenham and has to prove himself at this level, while bets of the rest is Without A Doubt although his Folkestone win does not look good enough either. All in all, class should prevail in the shape of Racing Demon.
