Verdict
Bailey Gate progressed from his debut when runner-up to Buccabay at Ascot, leading until approaching the final furlong. He looks to have the speed to cope with a drop back to the minimum but the filly BONNY ANGEL is likely to give him a run for his money as her third at Newbury was franked when the fourth bolted up at Ripon earlier this week. Tenjin also looks to be improving and looks the pick of the remainder.
