      Verdict

      Cosmic Desert remains winless and has become expensive to follow. Stevenson has been gelded since last seen in May while Conservative tries a new trip in first-time blinkers. Frantastic has scope but hasn’t raced since last in the Group 3 Classic Trial here in April. Newbury winner MAYTREE RESPITE (NAP) meets Cosmic Desert on the same terms as when finishing ahead of that one here last month. The placings can be confirmed and the former can go one better.
