Verdict
A chance is taken with Czarina Waltz to get the better of Silken Brief and Pie High in an open event. A lot depends on how the notoriously fragile Silken Brief has come on for her reappearance and she will be be difficult to master at this level if she runs up to her best. However, she is not the most straightforward of individuals and is not the most obvious candidate to be wading in on at short odds. Czarina Waltz makes more appeal at the likely prices and she is taken to hold the Stoute filly and Pie High, who is respected after a fair effort on her reappearance run. The Chris Wall-trained filly carries just 3lb extra for a convincing win at Lingfield last time and she should make a bold bid to follow up with Richard Mullen again in the plate.
