Verdict

RIOT was beaten only a head over track and trip when sent off favourite for his debut. John Gosden’s colt could prove the one to beat if proving as effective on this faster surface. Moolhim also made a promising start when third at Newmarket last month and looks likely to figure while Ryan Moore’s presence will ensure some interest in the newcomer What An Angel. Laser Show is related to Group 1 winners in Australia while Fahad can also boast Pattern winners in his pedigree and Morisco could have been found an easier opportunity on his debut.
