    Verdict

Lazuli took a further step forward when making all in Listed company over course and distance. He’s penalised for that but there looks more to come over the minimum trip. Liberty Beach finished third in the King’s Stand at Ascot last time ahead of Tis Marvellous having earlier won at Haydock when Maid In India was third. The latter beat Dakota Gold to land a Group 3 at Newbury last season but A’ALI (NAP) makes most appeal. He patently failed to stay the 6f trip at Newcastle on his return to action but won three Group 2 sprints over the minimum trip as a two-year-old and winning partner Frankie Dettori is back in plate for this. Tarboosh has something to prove at this level and Caspian Prince could only manage third in this last year.
