Verdict
Jamie Snowden's KALDOUS has failed to complete in his last two starts, latterly when falling in a contest at Ludlow won by Baby Run, but he may be worth another chance in a race that should not take a great deal of winning and he gets the vote ahead of The Big Breakfast and Hot 'n' Holy. The last mentioned has not been out for some time and was pulled up when last seen a year ago but he is better than he showed that day and has to be respected in this company. Autograph was good value for his success when last seen under rules in an intermediate chase at Hexham in May but he has disappointed in two starts in point-to-points since then and now looks best watched. Get My Drift was awarded a handicap chase at Ayr on the disqualification of the first past the post when last seen for Paul Nicholls last April but he was well held on recent start in a point and is hard to recommend after that effort. Van Ness needs to improve on all known form to trouble Kaldouas who, if he can reproduce of his best form, should be too classy for his rivals.
