One Hour and Mariotto could be the two to concentrate on here and the vote goes to Mariotto. Bought out of Mark Johnston's yard, Mariotto made a pleasing debut last year and then followed up with a romp at Sandown winning eased down by seven lengths. The stable scored with a similar horse last week (Winged Cupid, also out of Mark Johnston's stable, and off the track for a long time) and with their horses in good nick, they could be in the winners enclosure once again. One Hour looks the obvious danger as he is improving with every run and still looks pretty immature. With more improvement to come and proven on ground with some give in, Marcus Tregoning's colt should run well again. Before You Go has plenty of experience but can be hit and miss and was out of form when last seen, whilst Star Of Light has plenty of ability, but may prefer quicker ground. Spanish Hidalgo returns from his winter off and this three-year-old shouldn't be underestimated up against older rivals, however he may just benefit from this run. Peruvian Prince romped home last time out but this looks tougher, and we will therefore return to Mariotto who may turn out to be better than a handicapper.
