Verdict
Heaven is our pick ahead of Le Toreador and Barbary Boy. Peter Makin's sprinter won by a nose at Bath but she has been progressing at a rate of knots and provided that she gets the run of the race, she has a fair chance of landing the hattrick. Le Toreador won at Pontefract in a fairly weak affair. All the form seems to be on genuinely quick ground so connections won't want to see any rain. Barbary Boy's connections will think otherwise. He was entitled to win a bad maiden at Beverley but life will be tougher. Ridge Wood Dani is respected given the form of Eric Alston's stable. The Lancashire based handler is a very rare visitor to Esher. Ten Down looks exposed. Our Acquaintance has won one maiden but has struggled in handicaps throughout his career. Blue Jack is at least consistent. Heaven gets the nod.
