In depth

Verdict

COMEDY ACT will almost certainly be seen in a better light when tackling trips in excess of 2m but this is a stiff track and Philip Hobbs' promising Plumpton winner should be good enough to concede weight to a largely uninspiring field. Best of the opposition may be Sea Change, who won on the all-weather for Jeremy Noseda in September and is now with David Pipe, though Music Of The Moor won two of his 14 starts on the Flat and also showed a liking for soft ground. Tom Tate does well with his juvenile hurdlers and the Rock Of Gibraltar gelding should find a similar race in the near future.
