Gary Moore has won two of the last three renewals and his two runners merit serious consideration even if their form claims aren't that compelling at first glance. Sandwiched between those wins was a success for Nick Gifford and we like the look of his PASCHA BERE here although Take The Breeze, Helens Vision, Bormo and Kempley Green are all of great interest. First to the selection who appeared to be travelling just as well as The Polomoche at Stratford before his lack of a run took its toll; whilst the winner's mark was dealt a severe blow, the third was handed just 2lbs and this progressive gelding makes a good deal of appeal here despite the opposition. Kempley Green won well when last seen but has a new mark and absence to overcome, Take The Breeze has been quite highly tried in his three starts since arriving from France and is unexposed, Bormo split Ashkazar and Grand Schlem over course and distance in February which makes him look well handicapped but he did disappoint subsequently whilst Helens Vision looked an exciting prospect in her early days for Helen Lewis and is having her first start for Tim Vaughan. Cruchain would be of interest if his latest effort is ignored with Gringo and Cornas two more worth more than a cursory glance. A good contest but Pascha Bere has a decent each-way shout and is fancied to go close. (Ian Ogg)
