Verdict

Apple's Shakira competed at the highest level last season but she’ll probably need to run to the race of her life to give weight to some useful types on her handicap debut. Any fears about TOTTERDOWN running on a stiffer track were dispelled when he made all here last month and beat Nelson's Touch by six lengths, being allowed to walk across the line. A 10lb rise obviously makes life tougher but the seven-year-old looks a reformed character this season. I'm A Game Changer is quickly back over hurdles after a second over fences at Exeter and should run his race again while Eragon De Chanay won over course and distance last season and has run well over longer trips the last twice. Friday Night Light is more than capable of playing a part if in the mood but became disappointing in the spring and, apart from the top four, all are carrying more than their allotted weight.
