Verdict

It's a bonus that Hinterland is still qualified for beginners and novice chases as he was second in a Grade 1 over course and distance last season and in a Grade 2 at Kempton later. He looks certain to be a leading light this term but wouldn't have lived with GRANDOUET over hurdles and Nicky Henderson's classy chasing debutant should come out best if the fences don't get in the way. Turn Over Sivola did nothing wrong when second to Dodging Bullets at Kempton last month and is another with a future but Elsafeer may need his sights lowering.
