Verdict

NELSON’S TOUCH (NAP) appeared to handle the step up in trip at Newton Abbot in May. Second twice over 2m here last season, including in a Listed race in December, he is probably the form pick. Our Dot's Baby has switched stables and had wind surgery since last season but handled heavy going at Exeter in December and won over a longer trip at Newbury. Silver Kayf has been lightly raced in recent years but probably retains the ability to figure in a race like this while Melekhov has only once finished out of the first two and that was on his hurdling debut. Laxey is unexposed and makes his handicap debut.
