Verdict

Champagne Court probably produced a career-best over hurdles in a Grade 3 at Chepstow last month but is 5lb higher as he makes his debut over fences. Little Light won over hurdles for Joseph O’Brien in Ireland and The Flying Sofa is a likely improver after a second at Kempton. At Its Own Expense was consistent over timber and will strip fitter for a run at Worcester in September but CHAMBARD, a Grade 1 winner in his native France, looks a likely sort for a race like and the fact that he receives 6lb from Envoye Special, who keeps finding one too good, tilts things in his favour.
