In depth

Verdict

It was soft going when Sweet Reward scored over course and distance and MASCAT makes more appeal in this higher grade. The latter was beaten less than a length by the progressive Zabeel Champion at Ripon when last racing over today’s trip and finished ahead of four subsequent winners in the process. Russian Virtue is not guaranteed to stay this longer distance after placing over a mile and Leroy Leroy is preferred.
