Verdict
Frank Brennan's Caledonia Princess was found wanting in a listed race at Newmarket last month so should be better suited by the return to a handicap but she seems a shade high in the weights at present, while Walter Swinburn's consistent performer Addictive Dream is probably better over six furlongs and may have to settle for a place at best. Matsunosuke is capable but faces no easy task under the burden of 9st 7lb. Milton Bradley's Cape Royal has found some of his old form of late with wins at Windsor and Epsom in his last two outings but a 4lb rise for the latest of them may prevent him from scoring again and a better bet looks to be AVERTOR. Roger Charlton's gelding has shown improved form of late with decent placed efforts at Haydock and Newmarket and he can go one better than last time here.
