John Gosden and Saeed bin Suroor both run unexposed three-year-olds in this with the former’s Moonlight In Paris looking a better bet than the latter’s Dubai Welcome racing off a mark of 85. Alfred Boucher has been flying higher this year and won twice in this grade last season. He’s got a chance dropped a further pound since his fourth at Goodwood but Tafish has only won on the all-weather so far. Geranium was successful over course and distance in July but failed to cope with an 8lb rise on a return visit. Previously frustrating, ANDALEEP trounced a decent yardstick here last month and finally seems to be getting his act together. He wouldn’t want the going to get any quicker and is 9lb higher but William Carver again takes off a handy 5lb.
