Verdict
A high draw is a big advantage over Sandown's five-furlong sprint track so the Terry Mills-trained Type One may struggle from stall four and more likely winners are Carlton and Proud Native, with narrow preference for the latter. The David Nicholls-trained gelding is best in at the weights on official BHB ratings, is a course and distance winner, comes into this in reasonable form and has the benefit of a draw in stall 11 of the 11 runners. Carlton finished in front of the selection at Newcastle last month but that was over six furlongs and, even on 2lbs better terms, he may struggle to confirm form over this trip. Zarzu has claims on his best but has not been in great form of late and may be best watched.
