Verdict
Those with experience should rule the roost here, with Kashoof preferred to Mayaar and Wavertree Princess. Kashoof has already had four starts to date, the latest of which saw John Dunlop's filly lose out very narrowly in a Newmarket nursery. She was giving 7lb to the winner that day though, and so, back in maiden company, and on faster ground, the scene looks set for her to go one better. Mayaar has coped rather than appreciated more testing conditions in two runs so far, and as she hails from a yard choc full of useful youngsters, has to be respected. Wavertree Princess was not beaten too far at Bath in a race that has been boosted by the subsequent success of the third horse Heaven, and she is the type to follow in nurseries, while the market may throw up a clue as to the merits of the five unraced individuals. However, they and the rest will all have to go some to stop Kashoof, whose dam is related to the likes of Mehthaaf and Elnadim, from coming good.
