Verdict

Rio De Sivola should improve on his debut third at Ffos Las but Sash Of Honour disappointed when long odds-on at Lingfield and had earlier finished more than two lengths behind PISTOL at Newbury. Philip Hobbs' gelding has a penalty here but looks a nice prospect and can confirm that form and double his tally as course and distance winner Captain Cardington is starting to look exposed, though has the beating of Shadarpour on Kempton running over Christmas.
