Verdict
Although he took his time to get going last time, Medallist responded well to the Fallon drive and eventually ran on to a well deserved victory. He is still open to any amount of improvement and will not be far away today. Football Crazy will find this a much harder task than the claimer he won by a wide-margin last time and as one of the most exposed runners in the field, he looks opposable in this company. Clipperton failed to build on his performance at Bath last time and has a little to prove here. Whereas, Connor put in a fair effort in his handicap debut at Epsom last time after nine months off the track, and should have come on for the run. The Hannon yard have been firing in the winners of late and their charge could provide Medallist with the most to do.
