      Verdict

      ALDWICK BAY wasn't disgraced when fifth at over a longer trip at York last time but scored over today's distance in soft ground at Windsor before that. He beat the re-opposing Chain Of Events on that occasion and the latter has since won on fast going over C&D. Richard Hannon's charge can confirm running and come out best again. Proud Chieftain would prefer a faster surface judged on his three wins to date but Mountain Range, who had Greylami behind when seventh on his latest start, is not out of this as he acts in the going and scored over track and trip last year.
