Verdict

Mayhem Mya, a fair novice last season, has had a light campaign this time around and isn’t out of this. Freddy Robinson appeared to run his best race to date when a close fourth in a Listed race at Musselburgh latest while Gingerbred struck at Exeter at the start of the month when out-battling the luckless Pleasant Man. The latter’s yard run BEAU BALKO in this and the five-year-old is much better than he showed on his handicap debut at Taunton when he was never really travelling. Jilaijone has gone up 3lb for finishing second at Hereford, where he couldn’t land a blow on an easy winner.
