Verdict

Kempton winner Royal Symbol has no easy task on his first start since 2021 burdened with a weight for age concession and a penalty. Artistic Star hasn’t raced since winning at Nottingham on last year’s debut though is entered in the Derby, as is TORITO. The latter also won in testing ground at Nottingham when scoring on last month’s seasonal bow and this longer trip will suit the half-brother to several smart middle-distance winners including the Group 1 winner Journey. Clever Relation won over today’s trip at Windsor on last month’s introduction while Tajawal is fitted with a visor and is preferred to Star Of Sussex.
